The original Grand Etteilla Tarot Deck circa 1800 / which is said to have come from the possession of Maire Anne Adélaïde Lenormand and was auctioned/acquired to the best of our knowledge and belief for the collection of the Witch Museum Switzerland.
A reprint of the aforementioned tarot deck, in a set with a matching vintage tarot cloth for laying out the cards and a bilingual, detailed accompanying booklet. The cards also contain personal handwritten marginal notes by Mlle. Lenormand.
This unique deck of cards was created through the collaboration of Cindy (Spirit of Elements) and Wicca Meier Spring (Witch Museum Switzerland) in direct reprint (meaning that the original cards from around 1800 can be seen directly on the cards).
The cards contain handwritten marginal notes, personally written on them by the great fortune teller Marie Anne Adélaïde Le'Normand. The original deck, housed in the Swiss Witch Museum, is in fabulous condition, with only a few cards missing. A few cards have been slightly reworked and reconstructed. The original deck can be admired at the Swiss Witch Museum.
In a booklet explaining the cards, Wicca Meier Spring wrote a preface, explained each card in detail, clarified the connections between the Major Arcana and the commonly used Major Arcana cards of today, and provided a translation of the marginal notes from Old French. The booklet, included in the card set, is written in English and German.
The cards are in the classic tarot format of 70 x 120 mm, printed on 410 g/m² playing card stock, sealed with the highest quality semi-matte casino UV varnish, and packaged in a vintage folding box inside a cotton drawstring bag. The tarot/Lenormand spread is the classic size of 52 x 52 cm, like all spreads from Spirit of Elements.

This extraordinary tarot card set is exclusively available and can only be purchased from Spirit of Elements and the Witch Museum in Switzerland.
